Veterans Memorial of Titusville

The Veterans Memorial of Titusville is located next to the U.S. Space Walk of Fame. This memorial, dedicated to “All Veterans of All Wars,” consists of an 80-foot Circle of Memories that is comprised of eleven granite monuments, ten of which are dedicated to our nation’s major conflicts from the American Revolution through the Viet Nam War and includes Desert Storm. The eleventh, the Peace Monument, is the first monument you encounter at the entrance to the circle. Over 2,300 memorial bricks have been placed at the circle of memories.

Black Point Wildlife Drive

Black Point Wildlife Drive

Black Point Dr. is a wonderful wildlife experience by car, bike or on foot. It is a seven-mile ride with 11 kiosk stops with information about the various and abundant wildlife. Observers will appreciate the various birds, fish and the occasional alligator that can be seen from the trail.

Space Walk of Fame

The U.S. Space Walk of Fame is located at 308 Pine Street. Titusville, FL 32796. It is the first and only Walk in the nation that honors America’s astronauts as well as the men and women behind the scenes who helped America lead the world in space exploration. Come compare your hand prints to those of the Mercury Astronauts.

Titusville Playhouse

The Titusville Playhouse is located within the Historic Emma Parrish Theatre and is a thriving 501-C Non Profit community theatre in their 50th season.  Titusville Playhouse’s mission is to provide enriching theatrical, artistic and social experiences to artists and audiences.
We are committed to excellence in our productions and children’s educational programs and to making these programs accessible and enriching to the residents of Brevard County and the surrounding area.

The Historical Society of North Brevard was founded in 1966 and was established as a Not-For-Profit organization in 1982. The Historical Society receives no funds from the city of Titusville or Brevard County. All funds are obtained by membership dues, donations, and fund raisers.

FACTS ABOUT THE MUSEUM

  • opened on October 28, 1989
  • our mission is to collect, display and present the history of North Brevard County
  • staffed by members as volunteers
  • tours are encouraged; scouts, school, church classes, fraternal organizations – special times may be arranged
  • most items on display have been donated; others are on loan from individuals
  • newsletters are sent to members (usually nine a year)
  • meetings are held on the fourth Monday of the month, time, place and program announced in the newsletter
  • our library includes:
    • many books on local and state history
    • Titusville City Directories dating back to 1926
    • Titusville High School yearbooks dating back to 1940
    • Astronaut High School yearbooks dating back to 1973
    • miscellaneous Jackson and Madison Middle School yearbooks
    • many historical photographs; panoramas of photos and memorabilia
    • large amount of reference materials
